A loving, accepting, inclusive Christian community at the University of Montana
We seek to live our faith through service to others, open and honest dialogue, spiritual grounding, and collaborative peace and justice work. We grow together, laugh a lot, and work to find our place and passion in life.
Emmaus Campus Ministry is pleased and excited to welcome Eric Huseth as our new Campus Pastor and Executive Director beginning this July! Eric will be joining us following an eight year tenure at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Bonner, Montana. He is a native of Minnesota with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Music and Religion from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, and a Master’s of Divinity from Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley, California. Eric and his wife, Abby, have called Missoula their home for the past nine years and have two sons, Soren, age five, and Avery, age two. He is very excited about the prospect of working with university students and discovering what opportunities that they together may bring to the greater community and to the church. May God bless this new chapter for Emmaus!
Emmaus Campus Ministry celebrates diversity in sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression. We are committed to wrestling with the truth of colonization, dismantling white supremacy and working to end the oppression of Black, Brown, and Indigenous people.
